Background
I fell in love with the brain as a first generation college student at Brown University. Since then, I have sought to determine the molecular and cellular underpinnings of our brain's immense capacity for change, both in the context of learning & memory and in dysfunction & disease.
Values
I aim to make the study of the brain accessible to all. Through my hands-on research mentorship and inclusive pedagogical techniques, I have consistently shown a commitment to the support of first-gen students and those from disadvantaged or under-represented backgrounds.
Goals
I seek to elucidate the principles governing synaptic plasticity with a particular emphasis on the effects of drugs of abuse. I aim to provide a supportive and intellectually stimulating laboratory environment that enthusiastically welcomes students from all backgrounds.
